CubbyScan ("the app") is developed by an independent developer. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Storage

All data you create in CubbyScan — boxes, items, locations, and photos — is stored locally on your device. The app does not transmit your data to any external server.

What the App Accesses

CubbyScan requests the following device permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:

• Camera — Used to scan QR codes on storage boxes and to capture photos of box contents. Camera data is processed on-device and never leaves your phone.
• Location — Used optionally to set coordinates for your storage locations and display them on a map. Location data is stored locally on your device.
• Photo Library (Save) — Used to save generated QR code labels to your photo library for printing. The app does not read or access your existing photos.

Data Collection

CubbyScan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reporting sent to external services
• No advertising or ad tracking
• No third-party SDKs that collect data
• No account creation or login required

Third-Party Services

CubbyScan does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data.

Data Sharing

Your data is never shared with third parties. It remains entirely on your device under your control.

Data Deletion

You can delete any data within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

Children's Privacy

CubbyScan does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not collect information from any user.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
